Volunteer Opportunities

Tangibly cares for our church family by providing meals to those experiencing a time of need. We supplement the care already being provided by the church body and help people connect with the love and prayer found in community with other believers. Whether you can serve often or irregularly, love to cook, or have a list of restaurants that excel at delivery, we'd love to have you join the team.

Spend Sunday afternoons preparing a meal for about 100 college students. This is a great time to fellowship while serving others.

Help set first time guests be at ease by giving clear direction on where to enter, answering questions, and being a friendly face. It can be intimidating entering a new place for the first time, so your investment can make every person feels seen and welcome.

We have the privilege of serving a home-cooked meal to around 100 college students each Sunday night during the school year. Spending an hour a week washing dishes, wiping down tables, and taking out the trash after the meal helps us reach more students through something as simple as a meal.

Each Sunday night, CollegeLife hosts a meal and worship time, and you can be a part of creating a welcoming environment before everyone arrives.

Stay after the CollegeLife service on Sunday nights and reset the building for the next team. It only takes about 30 minutes, and its a great time to fellowship and serve others.

Serves as a greeter, welcoming people to the online service, providing links and helpful resources during the service, and praying with/and or connecting a pastor to people who request that. Our online services allow people who are sick, on vacation, homebound, or otherwise unable to attend in person to connect with our church family  ⎯  even from another country!

The communion servers have a privileged responsibility to prepare and distribute the elements of the Lord’s Supper.

Be the first Countryside face everyone sees and set the
tone for their time with us. We never know what folks are going through in their lives - the greeting team serves to make sure that each person is greeted warmly and with a smile, helping every person be seen and welcomed at our Sunday services.

Think of yourself as a guide. You will engage with guests
showing them where to find a Sunday School class, how to check in
their kids, and making them feel like this is their new church home. You'll also guide members and guests alike who are seeking to take their next step of
Relationships, Learning, and Service: help them connect with the right
person, find a classroom, or navigate the app. You will be on the Frontlines of connecting with people so they feel connected to Countryside.

You will serve our guests in the parking lot by initiating with a warm welcome, providing clear directions, and giving a fond farewell. You'll help create a comfortable environment and incredible first impression for folks by offering a safe, smooth parking experience with enthusiasm. 

Sometimes it can be hard to find a seat in the auditorium. You'll serve our guests by initiating with a warm greeting and showing them to an open seat. When people are new, late or nervous about finding a place to sit without disrupting the service, you'll help remove these barriers so they find their place to worship.
